As a thespian of Troupe 1958, there are a few commitments which must be abided by in order to maintain an active thespian status.
They are the following:
- a thespian must attend all Troupe 1958 thespian meetings held on the first Thursday of every month in the MB auditorium
- a thespian must maintain the facilities which he/she uses within the theatre department
- a thespian must obey all CLHS rules and regulations
- a thespian must pay his/her thespian dues by the date scheduled by the Secretary of that year
- a thespian must participate in at least two productions a year in some fashion
- a thespian must turn in $100 worth of patrons, divided amongst four patrons, by the date scheduled by the Treasurer of that year
- a thespian must acknowledge mandates made by foremost the directors, and secondly, the officers
If a thespian has any issues, problems, or concerns regarding the commitments to remain active, he/she may discuss the situation with an officer or a director. If an officer cannot satisfy the situation, then the thespian may bring it to the attention of a director. There, all matters can be settled.
If a thespian in the end chooses not to abide to their commitments, and they were not able to settle whatever situation, they lose all privileges, and are thus inactive.
A thespian may regain active status after becoming inactive if they choose to follow procedures which will be provided by either an officer or a director.
